Booking, mileage, fuel and collection — answered.
How long is a hire day?
A hire day usually runs 8:00am to 8:00am. On Sundays, pickup is from 9:00am and drop-off is by 9:30am.
Can I book when you're closed?
Yes. Online booking runs 24/7 with live yard availability. Pay online to secure the vehicle. Collect during opening hours — Monday–Saturday from 8:00am; Sundays pickup from 9:00am and drop-off by 9:30am.
What do I pay online?
The full hire amount online. A separate £150 security deposit is taken at the yard when you collect the van.
What about the £150 security deposit?
A £150 security deposit is required when you collect the van. This is taken at the yard (not online) and unused amounts are refunded after the hire.
How far ahead can I book?
You can book up to 365 days in advance online.
What are Sunday pickup and drop-off times?
On Sundays, pickup is from 9:00am and drop-off is by 9:30am. Monday–Saturday hires run 8:00am to 8:00am.
How does mileage work?
Mileage is charged at 15p per mile after 100 or 300 miles, depending on the length of hire.
What about fuel?
The hirer is responsible for fuel used during hire and must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as when hired.
Is insurance included?
Yes — insurance, road tax and 24/7 roadside assistance are included in every hire. Insurance excess is £1,500 in the event of damage or a claim.
What if the van breaks down?
If a vehicle breaks down we will look at providing an alternative during yard opening hours only — we do not supply replacement vehicles out of hours. All our vehicles are serviced in our own workshop.
What do I need to bring?
Bring your driving licence. If it is not a photocard licence, bring your passport as well. Also bring a utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 3 months showing the same address as your licence. Digital copies are fine. If the address on your ID differs from your licence, two forms of address ID are required.

Sales have moved to our partners at The Car Range. This site handles van and car hire only.
